Q: I put my thumb on my left sole but didn’t feel anything. Do I need to press the tip of the big toe or poke it with my finger nails to feel the sensitive part of the toe? Please advise.
A: Thank you for trying out the exercise from my free online lessons. In the video, I recommend pressing along the toe because most people find sensitive points in this area. Ditto for the soles of the feet, especially the Kidney point, which I cover in Lesson 3.
It sounds like you may need to increase the amount of pressure you’re using when pressing on your sole and your toe. Also, try going more slowly and pressing more deeply.
Alternately, if you are living a very healthy and happy lifestyle, it might just be that you don’t have any sensitive points. Sensitive points on your feet are indicative of energy blocks or disharmonies. If you’re body is in complete harmony with your mind, spirit and the earth, then your feet won’t feel a thing.
